In the game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, players will revisit Hyrule Castle after completing the initial three dungeons. This journey is crucial for Princess Zelda as she aims to rescue her father, the king, and restore her reputation. Below is a comprehensive Hyrule Castle walkthrough for Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Hyrule Castle Dungeon Walkthrough
The pathway through the Still World to the Hyrule Castle dungeon is generally straightforward. Remember to activate the checkpoint and collect a treasure chest containing seven Radiant Butter along your way. Proceed to the next checkpoint at the entrance of Hyrule Castle, then advance and quickly defeat the Darknut using Echoes and the Swordfighter Form to unlock the Darknut Lv. 2 Echo.
Continue onward to encounter the suspended King of Hyrule and bind the throne chair to clear a path to a ladder. After hitting the next checkpoint, bind the northeast wall to open a new route. In this area, be cautious of guards that can send you to the shadow realm upon spotting you.
If you are detected by the guards, defeat the enemies in the shadow realm and try sneaking through again. Position objects to obstruct their sight and make your move when they turn away. Utilize the Crawltila and Water Block Echoes obtained from the Jabul Ruins dungeon to gain altitude and reach the eastern door.
Climb over the wall of the cell, hit the checkpoint, and descend the ladder. Eliminate all the Darknuts and progress forward. In the next room, you will find three treasure chests containing three Twisted Pumpkins, five Floral Nectar, and a Monster Stone.
In the following room, you’ll find four torches that you need to light, with two being somewhat out of reach. You can hold the Echo button to launch them further. Use Brazier or Ignizol Echoes to ignite each torch. You can summon Echoes through chain-link gates, which will be essential for lighting two of the four torches. The leftmost torch can easily be reached, while the rightmost torch requires you to summon the Echo on a nearby platform and then guide it to the torch across the gap.
In the next area, defeat the Gustmasters using Flying Tile Echoes or Peahat Echoes to avoid being blown away when you venture too close. Then, create a bridge using a row of Water Block Echoes to cross the chasm. Choose the right door and clear away sand dunes to unveil a chest containing the Dungeon Map. Return and make your way to the northern door, using either a Flying Tile or a Water Block bridge. Ensure you are standing on the blue symbol square when using the Flying Tile to soar over the gap.
Activate the checkpoint and proceed through the left door. Jump or employ the Flying Tile to navigate across the downward current and take the ladder down. Utilize a Tangler Lv. 2 Echo to illuminate your path in the dark underwater tunnel. Additionally, employ the Swordfighter Form to clear away the purple goo web using your sword. You’ll discover two treasure chests containing Rupees as you make your way northwest to the ladder.
Carefully sneak past the shadow guards and take the ladder all the way to the right. Use a Boulder Echo to activate the button on the lone pillar, spawning a chest in the center of the room. Use a Flying Tile to glide over the guard and reach the chest containing a Small Key, then teleport back to the main room with the boss door.
Take the right path. Construct a small staircase and utilize the Bombfish Echo on the crack in the wall to uncover a treasure chest containing 50 Rupees. The eastern door in the sand room will be locked, so proceed through the southern door that requires the Small Key.
Defeat the Gustmaster and use a Flying Tile Echo to effortlessly traverse the two gaps and pillar. If not, you’ll need to navigate around and scale spider stands over a bottomless pit. The next room houses two Darknuts and a Ball-and-Chain Trooper.
Utilize your Swordfighter Form to swiftly eliminate all three foes, being particularly cautious of the long-range attacks from the Ball-and-Chain. The sword is the most straightforward weapon, but summoning Echoes can divert attention while you score a few hits. Learn the new Ball-and-Chain Trooper Echo and advance to the next room containing three treasure chests with a Golden Egg, the Frog Ring accessory which enables players to jump an additional space higher, and the Big Key.
Warp back to the main room and use the Big Key on the boss door to battle Ganon. While this encounter is not the conclusion of your journey, make sure to collect a full Heart Container to enhance your health and prepare for the upcoming challenges in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
