In *The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom*, players face the challenge of tackling three remaining temples after restoring Hyrule Castle and its surrounding town. One of these temples is located in the snowy northern region, so here’s an extensive guide to the Lanayru Temple walkthrough for *Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom*.
Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Lanayru Temple Walkthrough
Enter the temple, activate the checkpoint, and proceed to observe the track system that will be crucial later on. Head into the left room and eliminate the Ice Octos to collect five Rock Salt, then explore the right room.
You will need to navigate across the water using either the Cloud or Ice Block Echoes and link the fire symbol from the pedestal on the right to the vacant pedestal on the left. This action will set the track in motion, allowing a wall to slide back and reveal a ladder. Proceed through the 2D room and utilize the Strandtula Echo to obtain a treasure chest containing three Monster Fangs.
Utilize boulders to obstruct the icy air vents, then proceed through the left entrance. By binding the fire symbol through the icy vent, it will transform into an ice symbol, activating the track without any significant effect. You must block the vent with a Boulder Echo through the gate so the fire symbol can traverse safely.
Dive into the water to collect the Small Key, then return to the previous room and position the ice symbol on the pedestal. Following that, deploy a Platboom Echo to access the locked door on the right once the ice is restored.
Utilize the falling icicles to maneuver past the vents in the 2D room by binding and adjusting them. Employ either the Flying Tile or Cloud Echoes to navigate the gaps, though there is an ascending entrance in the middle of the room that contains a treasure chest with a Golden Egg.
Summon a Brazier or Ignizol Echo on the ice blocks to reveal a ladder. Descend to the bottom of the 2D room and bind the fire symbol. Elevate it back to the pedestal at the top of the room while dodging the icy vents to melt the ice in the preceding room.
Enter the east entrance and push the ice block towards the right button. You must simultaneously step on the bottom button as the ice block activates the right button to spawn a treasure chest containing a Small Key.
Take it to the locked door in the previous room. Defeat all the Temper Tweelus to unlock the door, which will spawn a treasure chest containing the Dungeon Map. Proceed through the left door and activate the checkpoint.
How to Defeat Green Slime in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The Green Slime miniboss may initially seem invulnerable to attacks; however, you must freeze it before launching an attack. A Freezard Echo works effectively to create a steady icy stream, then follow up with other Echoes or employ the Swordfighter Form.
This will lead the Green Slime to divide into two, but maintain the same approach. Freeze the slimes as they continue to split, and keep moving to evade the falling slimes. Utilize the green hot spring to restore health when possible. Defeating this enemy will unlock the north door.
Ensure to light all the braziers in the room before advancing. Melt the icicles and use the Ignizol Echo to ignite the braziers. The northeast brazier will require you to bind an Ignizol through the wall to ignite it, which also applies to the southern brazier. Establish a trail of Water Blocks leading to the treasure chest containing 100 Rupees in the northwest before proceeding southward.
The subsequent room will contain the Big Key, but you will need to navigate through a puzzle to reach it. Take the southern entrance and proceed south again. Defeat the enemies, collect the chest containing three Twisted Pumpkins, and continue south. Take the right door, then head north to locate a fire symbol.
Bind the fire symbol and maneuver it along the icy pathway while avoiding various obstacles. Place it on the northern pedestal to melt multiple ice ponds. The previous room will provide access to a treasure chest containing a Monster Stone after diving in the water beneath the giant wall.
Return to the multi-track room and place a boulder on the button in the water, then enter the left entrance. Bypass the next room and take the left door to find a fire symbol and some vents. Here, you’ll need to block the fiery vents with a Boulder Echo to convert the fire symbol into ice before placing it on the opposite pedestal to freeze the water in the preceding room.
Starting from the east entrance, summon an Ice Block Echo to push towards the button across the icy surface. Then leap the gate and step on the other button simultaneously as the ice block connects to unlock the north entrance. Defeat the White Wolfos to advance.
In the next area, you need to block all icy vents to transport the fire symbol from one corner to the opposite pedestal. This action will heat up the wall in the room containing the ice symbol. Climb the ladder and hit the button to return to the previous chamber.
Light the brazier, then move the ice symbol over the fire to transform it before placing it on the pedestal. Reset the room by exiting, and place the ice symbol on the pedestal again. Return to the earlier room and hit the yellow button to unlock the gate, obtaining the Big Key at last. The boss room door is located on the right, where players will engage in battle with Skorchill for a full Heart Container and Nayru’s Sanction.
