The journey in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom continues even after restoring peace to Hyrule Castle, as players can explore three additional rifts. Here is a comprehensive Eldin Temple walkthrough for Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom – Eldin Temple Walkthrough
Navigating through the Still World prior to entering the temple is relatively simple, except for the challenge of crossing lava pits. Two essential Echoes for the temple are the Tweelus and Lava Rock Echoes, both capable of enduring the heat and serving as platforms for traversal.
Upon entering the temple, activate the checkpoint and utilize the hot spring in the corner for healing. Proceed through the northern door and use either Bombfish or Zirro Echoes to reveal a bindable chest containing eight Twisted Pumpkins.
Enter the eastern door to encounter a narrow lava pool and two geysers. Bind the lava rock to the first geyser, then employ a Flying Tile Echo to traverse to the second geyser, where you’ll need to bind the lava rock again. Jump onto the rock to reach the next door.
The next room features a bottomless pit, with several air vents scattered throughout. Clutch onto a Keese or Cloud Echo while maneuvering through the air vents for safe navigation. In the northeast corner, you’ll discover a chest containing a Small Key—grab it, then return to the temple’s initial room which holds a locked door.
Inside the unlocked room, you’ll find a lava pool that periodically rises and falls. Be quick to collect the treasure chest that holds a Golden Egg at the room’s southern end, but summon a Tweelus or Lava Rock Echo to escape the encroaching lava. There’s also a lava rock on the left side covering a button; move the rock aside and activate the button to unlock the northern door.
You can navigate the 2D room using a Flying Tile Echo, followed by a combination of Tweelus and Strandtula Echoes to leap over the larger lava geyser. The following room contains fiery vents that inflict damage, so use or place Tweelus Echoes to shield against the burning gusts. Don’t forget to collect the chest containing the Dungeon Map before proceeding south.
There is a switch on the left side of the room; jump and use a Flying Tile Echo to activate it before the lava rises. Utilize Tweelus and the climbable walls to access the eastern unlocked entrance and claim the treasure chest with another Small Key. Return to the Dungeon Map room and head north.
How to Defeat Evil Bomb Link
In the next chamber, you will confront an evil version of Link who hurls bombs at you. Dodge the bombs, leap up the platforms, and engage in combat using Swordfight Form to strike at this false Link. You’ll need to chase him multiple times, but keep after him, dodging the incoming bombs. Upon defeating him, you will receive the Bombs of Might, allowing you to use bombs while in Swordfighter Form.
The subsequent room features three doors, purple gooey webs, and cracked blocks obstructing your path. Utilize Swordfighter Form’s bow and bombs to clear the way and retrieve the treasure chest containing a Small Key hidden within the cracked blocks in the middle of the room. Begin with the northeast door.
Detonate the northwest corner of the room to unveil a treasure chest containing 100 Rupees. Then, blow up the northeast corner to create a passage leading to a battle with the Fire Wizzrobe. Defeating the Wizzrobe grants you its Echo and a treasure chest that contains a Small Key. Return to the room with multiple doors and select the southwest door.
Descend the ladder, heading down south to learn the Ghirro Echo, and open the treasure chest that reveals the Big Key at the bottom. You will need to climb back up swiftly before being engulfed by rising lava and use the Flying Tile Echo to cross the gap created when the ladder breaks. Take the final locked door located in the northwest area of the room.
This is the final chamber of the Eldin Temple where you must traverse a prolonged lava pool while evading geysers. Use Keese or Cloud Echoes on the air vents to maneuver past the geysers. Be sure to smash the lone pot to uncover a Fairy before employing a Lava Rock Echo to lift yourself to the next segment where you’ll repeat the same procedure.
Activate the checkpoint adjacent to the boss door and prepare yourself to face Volvagia. Defeating this snake-like dragon will reward you with a full Heart Container and Din’s Sanction, an essential item complementing the other two obtained by conquering the Faron and Lanayru temples.
