The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie is set to captivate audiences when it debuts on the big screen, delivering an experience that fans may not anticipate. With Ufotable at the helm, fans can expect breathtaking fight scenes that honor the beloved work of Koyoharu Gotouge. However, there’s one particular character poised to steal the spotlight, and no demon slayer will be able to match him.
Zenitsu Agatsuma has had numerous thrilling moments that have impressed the fanbase. His incredible reflexes and the unique ability to fight while unconscious have made him a standout character. It’s essential to highlight that his unconscious fighting is not by choice; despite his powers, Zenitsu is inherently a coward, often succumbing to fear and blacking out. In these moments, his instincts take over, allowing him to battle some of the fiercest demons.
However, fans should prepare for a different Zenitsu in the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie. Viewers can look forward to witnessing Zenitsu’s most spectacular moment, which occurs early in the new arc. What Makes Zenitsu’s Conflict in the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Movie Unmissable?
As previously mentioned, Zenitsu Agatsuma is characterized as a coward, often attempting to escape difficult situations at the first chance he gets. Initially, his behavior frustrated some fans. However, he eventually won over audiences when he allowed his instincts to take control, defeating demons with surprising ease. Recently, Zenitsu received a shocking letter that drastically altered his attitude. Usually known for his comedic nature, his demeanor shifted profoundly.
In the movie, Zenitsu becomes extremely serious, with the catalyst behind this transformation being revealed. The letter he received conveyed devastating news: the death of his master, Jigoro Kuwajima. The former Thunder Hashira took his own life as a means of atonement for his mistake, specifically for teaching Kaigaku the Thunder Breathing Technique. Jigoro was supposed to help manage the dojo alongside Zenitsu but was nearly defeated by the Upper Moon 1 demon, Kokushibo.
Kokushibo presented Kaigaku with two grim options—death or consuming Kibutsuji Muzan’s blood to become a demon. True to his cowardice, Kaigaku chose the latter, gaining a place as the replacement for the Upper Moon 6 demon. In the movie, Zenitsu faces Kaigaku, setting the stage for a memorable confrontation.
Not only does Zenitsu achieve victory, but this marks the first occasion where he fights entirely conscious. He displays a newfound seriousness, showing no signs of fear and even verbally taunting Kaigaku.
The battle is largely one-sided, with Zenitsu overwhelmingly overpowering the Upper Moon demon, culminating in his astonishing defeat at the hands of a move he devised himself. While he’s generally known for mastering only the first form, Zenitsu unleashes the thrilling Seventh Form, also known as the Flaming Thunder God.
This devastating technique dispatches Kaigaku in an instant, leaving Zenitsu virtually unscathed. The outcome of the fight came in a flash, with his former comrade-turned-demon falling within moments. This demonstrates why Zenitsu is set to take center stage in the upcoming Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie.
