Despite only debuting a year ago, ZEROBASEONE has already established itself as a dominant force and solidified its status as the ‘Fifth Generation K-pop Icon’ by conquering major global stages.
The nine-member group, consisting of SUNG HAN BIN, KIM JI WOONG, ZHANG HAO, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAE RAE, RICKY, KIM GYU VIN, PARK GUN WOOK, and HAN YU JIN, performed for and met with their fans in the United States at The GRAMMY Museum: Global Spin Live, an event hosted by the prestigious music award show, The GRAMMY Awards, on July 25th.
The GRAMMY Museum’s Global Spin Live is a highly sought-after online performance series that showcases global artists and their music. The tickets for the event sold out within seconds of the announcement, a testament to its immense popularity.
During the GRAMMY Museum event, ZEROBASEONE made an appearance on stage before the show started. As it was also ZHANG HAO’s birthday on that day, fans took the opportunity to serenade him with a birthday song. The interview, led by Emily Mei, covered a range of topics including the group’s journey so far, a behind-the-scenes account of their music video shoot, and fun facts about each member’s hobbies.
Following the interview, the group took to the stage and delivered a stunning performance of two songs – “In Bloom”and “Feel the Pop.”They began with their debut hit “In Bloom,”which had a catchy and feel-good vibe, and then proceeded to impress the audience with their second song “Feel to Pop.”Their electrifying choreography and visually captivating dance moves brought an energetic atmosphere to the event, with fans enthusiastically singing along to their diverse song selection. The group’s powerful stage presence left no room for any negative vibes and truly heated up the show.
By participating in KCON LA 2024 in July and SUMMER SONIC 2024, Japan’s largest urban music festival, ZEROBASEONE has not only maintained their connection with international fans, but also plans to continue doing so. Their appearance on Global Spin Live is a testament to their global influence and aligns with their goal of expanding their reach worldwide. In line with this, the group is gearing up for their first international tour, ‘2024 ZEROBASEONE THE FIRST TOUR [TIMELESS WORLD], which will commence in Seoul on September 20 and continue to seven other locations around the world in September 2024.
