The developers of Battlefield 6 are actively engaging with player feedback regarding the game’s user interface (UI) during its beta phase, responding to numerous complaints about navigation difficulties.

Despite the Battlefield 6 Open Beta achieving remarkable success as the most popular entry in the franchise—surpassing Call of Duty’s peak player count on Steam—players have raised several concerns that need addressing before the game’s official launch.

Among various critiques surrounding map sizes and modifications to Rush mode, the most significant grievance appears to be the UI. Gamers have voiced frustration over the menu structure, where each game mode is presented as a distinct tile, complicating the process of locating specific playlists, notably the Closed Weapons mode. However, the developers are committed to addressing these issues, reassuring players that improvements are on the way.

Developers Committed to Enhancing UI Based on Player Feedback

In a recent interview with CharlieIntel, Executive Producer Christian Grass emphasized the team’s dedication to listening to player insights. He stated, “One of the principles that we have in this project has always been to be open and listen. So we are constantly listening.”

Grass elaborated on the team’s internal discussions aimed at pinpointing areas for improvement, focusing on trade-offs and key elements that influence the overall user experience.

Creative Director Thomas Anderson also reassured players that changes to the main menu could be implemented quickly, as it is not a rigid, hard-coded interface.“I just want you to understand that it’s not hard-coded UI that you’re talking about right now, so it’s very dynamic, ” he clarified.“We could listen to feedback and act in seconds to something that feels like it’s troubling. We can always tune those things.”

Grass further confirmed that the screen tiles will be continually adjusted and refined to facilitate easier access to desired modes. Although specific adjustments to the layout were not detailed, players can feel confident that their feedback is being taken into consideration as the October 10 release date approaches.
