It was never about her story though in the first place, even the author didn't mention any specified name about her and from what my understanding this information came from fan-translation who translated OnK and decided to put this information as "extra information"

This type of incidents has happened so many times since the conception of the internet, I'm sorry that the mother got reminded of the tragedy her daughter went through but this is to give awareness so that what happened to her daughter won't happen Atleast as commonly as it is.
