Valorant’s latest patch, 12.04, has been unveiled, delivering eagerly anticipated improvements to the character Killjoy. Let’s delve into what this update entails.
This past year has seen significant transformations within Valorant, marking an exciting journey since the game’s fifth anniversary last summer. As we advance into 2026, Riot Games continues to roll out substantial updates, including enhancements for Harbor, essential buffs for Gekko and Reyna, and the introduction of a new weapon, the Bandit pistol.
Key Enhancements to Killjoy’s Turret
The current update is primarily centered on upgrades to Killjoy’s turret, aligning its functionality with that of Sage’s Barrier Orb. This modification allows players to position their turrets with greater precision, eliminating the necessity of standing at specific angles to control the desired area.
Riot Games commented, “This will help Killjoy players to angle their Turrets more precisely, without needing to position themselves at specific angles to cover the area they want.” Also, players can now rotate the turret by holding down the alt-fire button, and utilize the activate key to change its direction efficiently.
