Yeldrim Absolum Password Puzzle Solution Guide

While exploring the various regions of Absolum, unlocking new paths often hinges on meeting specific conditions within each area. Upon reaching Yeldrim, players will encounter a secured entrance that demands a particular password for access.

If you’re uncertain about the password or the procedure to enter it, you’ve come to the right place.

Unlocking the Yeldrim Password Puzzle

At the fifth node in Yeldrim, you’ll discover a locked gate in the upper right corner, leading to an exclusive area. To unlock this gate, you’ll require a simple password, which can be obtained from the last cultist authorized to enter. This cultist will pose two questions; your responses should be conveyed through emotes.

Initial question = Thumbs Down
Follow-up question = Thumbs Up

To execute an emote, hold RB / R1 and press d-pad up for Thumbs Up or d-pad down for Thumbs Down. When performing an emote, a skull hand will appear over your character’s head, signaling your input. Following this exchange, the gate will unlock.

Here’s how the dialogue should unfold:

You: (Press RB) I have been summoned.
Cultist: There are many people, but only one truth – do you seek it?
You: (Hold RB + D-Pad Down) Thumbs Down
Cultist: Show me that you are one of us.
You: (Hold RB + D-Pad Up) Thumbs Up
Cultist: You may enter.

Successfully inputting the correct password leads you to the Mansion of the Cult, a location immersed in a captivating cosmic horror atmosphere.

This area offers a stark contrast to the other regions of the game as well as to Yeldrim itself. Within the Mansion, players will also encounter a mini-boss, providing additional challenges and inspirations to enhance your skill set before you eventually face the Morta Mima, Silver Queen boss fight.
