Upon visiting the Highguard’s Steam page, you might notice a notification stating “Secure Boot & TPM 2.0 Not Detected” displayed prominently above the play or download button. This message will not appear if your system already supports these features, so you may face difficulties starting the game otherwise.

To get started, it’s important to check whether these features are currently disabled. You can do this by accessing the Run command in Windows. Simply press Windows + R to open the dialog box. Type in “msinfo32” to pull up your system information, and locate the Secure Boot State as shown in the screenshot above.

If the status reads “On, ” you’re all set to play. However, if it indicates “Off, ” you’ll need to make adjustments via your computer’s BIOS settings. The process for accessing these settings can vary based on your hardware configuration.
