Players exploring Hollow Knight: Silksong have uncovered an unexpected error: a rogue mouse cursor makes an appearance in one of the game’s pivotal cutscenes. It’s a small oversight that, once noticed, is hard to overlook.

Overall, Silksong has largely met the high expectations of its fanbase. Despite some discussions about its challenging gameplay, the expansive world, intricate level designs, and epic boss encounters crafted by Team Cherry have resulted in overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Nonetheless, fans encountered an amusing blunder in Act 3, reminiscent of the infamous coffee cup blunder from Game of Thrones.

Unexpected Discovery in Silksong Cutscene

Reddit user SooperWooper7044 first shared the discovery of a cursor appearing on screen above Hornet during a critical moment in the story. This occurs early in Act 3 while players utilize the bell to descend into The Abyss beneath Pharloom, marking a significant point in the gameplay.

The cursor is only visible for a fleeting moment before it vanishes, which explains why it escaped notice until this point. However, we reviewed several gameplay videos, including those from WilliamGlenn8 and Rizado, and confirmed its presence across them all.
