On May 26, Zico’s agency, KOZ Entertainment, posted on the fan community platform Weverse that Zico had noticed discomfort in his throat during practice the day before and had gone to the hospital for a check-up. Following a thorough examination, he was diagnosed with vocal cord inflammation and was advised by the medical team to take a break and recover.
