On December 27, 2024, the 9th Asian Artist Awards (2024 AAA) dazzled audiences at the IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand. This prestigious event was brought to life by the charismatic hosting trio of Ryu Jun-yeol, Jang Won-young, and Sung Han-bin.

Notable winners included actor Byun Woo-seok, singers Kim Hye-yoon and Lim Young-woong, and the girl group NiziU. Taking the stage, Byun Woo-seok expressed his gratitude to supporters, stating, “Thank you to all the fans who helped me receive this award. I will cherish your love and will not take it for granted. I will do my best as an actor.” Similarly, Kim Hye-yoon shared her appreciation, noting, “Thank you so much for loving ‘Lovely Runner.’ I want to repay you with even better performances in the future.”

The evening also honored Kim Soo-hyun as Actor of the Year, marking a significant achievement as he collected three awards: the AAA Hot Trend Award and the AAA Fabulous Award. During his acceptance speech, Kim conveyed heartfelt thanks for the support he received for the drama “Queen of Tears,” emphasizing, “Thank you so much. I sincerely thank everyone who loved the drama and my fans for supporting me.”
