In the early hours of May 3rd, Tenasia reported on the speculation surrounding the romantic relationship between 2NE1’s Dara and former MBLAQ member and actor Lee Joon. These rumors emerged after a video of the two together at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines went viral on social media.

During the video, Dara and Lee Joon were seen with MBLAQ’s Thunder and gugudan’s Mimi, who had recently gotten married. After spending time together on their trip, they were waiting for their flight back to Korea. Netizens speculated that Thunder, who is known to be Lee Joon’s best friend, may have introduced him to his sister.

The most recent installment of Dara’s vlog “Dara Tour”was released on the evening of May 24th. During the episode, Dara and Lee Joon addressed and dispelled rumors about their alleged romantic relationship by explaining the reason behind their joint trip. Although they did indeed travel together, they are not dating. In reality, Lee Joon had been invited to be a guest on Dara’s travel vlog and they were simply supporting each other as senior and junior colleagues.

Lee Joon disclosed the reason for joining Dara’s Vlog as well. He explained, “Just two days ago, I received a wedding invitation from Thunder and Mimi. When I asked them when we could hang out, Thunder mentioned that he was heading to the Philippines in two days. I was curious about his trip and he told me he was going on a Dara Tour. I expressed my interest in joining and he invited me to be a guest on the Vlog.”

They were both amused when they unexpectedly became involved in a dating rumor.
