As the series is currently in its epilogue, Kohei Horikoshi is striving to give all the My Hero Academia characters appropriate endings to their individual journeys.
As the series comes to a close and each chapter passes, fans eagerly anticipate seeing their favorite characters receive well-deserved attention in Horikoshi’s epilogue.
Keeping this in mind, we will now examine the four My Hero Academia characters who should receive attention in the epilogue, as well as the four who do not warrant the time invested.
4 Characters from My Hero Academia Who Deserve a Spotlight in the Epilogue
Shoto Todoroki
The Todoroki family played a significant role in My Hero Academia’s Final War arc. Therefore, it is only fitting that the story of Shoto Todoroki is given special attention.
Fans may recall that in chapter 390 of the manga, Shoto emerged victorious against Dabi and successfully rescued his family from danger. While there has been no official confirmation of Dabi’s fate, many fans speculated that he had succumbed to his grave wounds.
As a result, it is crucial to include Shoto and his family in the ongoing epilogue. This will effectively showcase the impact of the monumental battle on the Todoroki family and provide a definitive answer regarding Dabi’s status.
Izuku Midoriya
The journey of Izuku Midoriya is far from finished, even though he appears to have lost his Quirk. Although Midoriya achieved all of his goals, there are still certain aspects of his personality that warrant further investigation.
Despite being almost in the same state as All Might when the latter lost One For All, it will be intriguing to witness how Midoriya navigates the Hero society without a Quirk. While he may not be the main focus of the epilogue, fans can be reassured that Midoriya’s journey is far from over.
3) Ochaco Uraraka
The Final War arc reached a poignant climax as Ochaco Uraraka faced off against Himiko Toga in their epic battle. This long-standing animosity between the two culminated in a bittersweet conclusion, with Toga sacrificing herself in the final moments to ensure Uraraka’s survival.
Considering the brutal nature and outcome of their battle, it would be fascinating to witness the extent of Uraraka’s growth after Toga’s death. Therefore, it is crucial for her character to be a central focus in the ongoing epilogue, highlighting her development throughout the story.
Hawks
Hawks is a crucial figure in the ongoing epilogue of My Hero Academia, deserving of much attention. Following his severe injuries inflicted by Dabi and the loss of his Quirk to All For One, fans eagerly await news of Hawks’ post-war life and his journey of adapting to Hero society without his Quirk.
4 My Hero Academia characters who aren’t worth the time spent in Horikoshi’s epilogue
Minoru Mineta
Despite briefly redeeming himself in the Final War arc by showing bravery against All For One, Minoru Mineta has reverted back to his usual perverted behavior in the current chapters of the manga. This has caused him to remain one of the most disliked characters in My Hero Academia for a long time.
Despite Mineta not being a major focus in the My Hero Academia series, his limited appearance in the ongoing epilogue is unlikely to have a significant impact on the overall series.
Yuga Aoyama
Yuga Aoyama was initially overlooked by many as a minor character. However, his role became the focal point of the Final Act Saga after it was revealed that he was the U.A. Traitor. From that point on, Aoyama made a concerted effort to earn back the trust of his peers and joined forces with them to defeat the villain All For One.
Despite fans’ hopes for Aoyama’s character to receive more attention in the ongoing epilogue, it seems that Horikoshi has chosen to say goodbye to the character prematurely.
It has been recently discovered that Aoyama has made the decision to leave U.A. High permanently. Therefore, it may not be necessary to give his character any further attention in the upcoming chapters of the manga.
3) Character Profile: Hitoshi Shinso
Hitoshi Shinso has come a long way since his initial appearance as Deku’s rival in season 2 of My Hero Academia. Despite the stigma surrounding his Quirk, he has consistently impressed fans with his abilities and unwavering determination to become a top Hero. Throughout the series, his journey has not only endeared him to fans, but also gained him admiration from other characters in My Hero Academia.
Despite this, Shinso’s addition to Class A in the latest chapter of the manga completes his character arc. He has transformed from a feared figure in the General Department to a beloved Hero in Class A. As a result, there is no need to delve further into Shinso’s story in the ongoing epilogue.
Best Jeanist Award
Despite being a prominent Pro Hero in My Hero Academia, Best Jeanist was not heavily featured in the Final War arc of the series. It has been over 50 chapters since he last appeared in the manga.
Although fans would be pleased to see a brief cameo from him in the upcoming chapters of the manga, Best Jeanist is not a character who should take the spotlight in the ongoing epilogue.
Concluding Remarks
Undoubtedly, the success of My Hero Academia can be attributed to the talented ensemble cast.
