Despite the fact that characters other than Sung Jin-Woo in Solo Leveling often do not receive the chance to showcase their abilities, it cannot be denied that they are some of the strongest characters in the manhwa industry.
As fans of Solo Leveling eagerly anticipate the second season of the anime, some have begun to imagine potential battles between the series’ strongest characters and those from other animanga, in order to gauge their true power.
Many anime fans on social media have shown a keen interest in a potential matchup between Jujutsu Kaisen’s protagonist, Yuji Itadori, and Solo Leveling’s Sung Jin-woo. However, it should be noted that even at his strongest, Yuji would not stand a chance against some of the most powerful characters in Solo Leveling, much less Jin-woo himself. In fact, there are 8 Solo Leveling characters who could easily defeat Yuji in a direct confrontation.
Sung Suho and 7 Solo Leveling characters who can easily defeat Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen
Sung Jin Woo
Without a doubt, Yuji Itadori would be no match for Solo Leveling’s Sung Jin-woo in a direct confrontation. Even if it were the Jin-Woo from the anime rather than his manhwa version, Yuji would still have a difficult time in the battle against the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen.
After Jin-Woo transformed into the Shadow Monarch and fully unleashed the true potential of Ashborn, he rose to a whole new level in comparison to the other characters.
Following the creation of a new timeline, Jin-woo solidified his position as the strongest character in the series after his second battle against Antares inside the Dimension Rift. He surpassed even the power of the Absolute Being, making it clear that a one-on-one fight between him and Yuji should not even be a topic of discussion among fans.
Sung Suho
Despite being around the same age, there is a vast difference in power between Jujutsu Kaisen’s Yuji Itadori and Solo Leveling’s Sung Suho, who is the son of the Shadow Monarch and one of the strongest humans in the world.
In the Solo Leveling side stories, readers were given a sneak peek at the immense potential of Sung Jin-woo’s son, who proved himself to be a suitable heir to the position of Shadow Monarch. By the time he reached high school, Suho had already surpassed the strength of an average S-Rank Hunter and swiftly became powerful enough to single-handedly defeat his father’s entire shadow army.
At a certain point, Suho’s power grew to such an extent that he could only be stopped by Jin-woo himself. This clearly indicates that among Yuji Itadori and Sung Suho, the latter possesses greater potential and a higher likelihood of surpassing the strongest character in his series.
Igris
Igris is among the earliest and most dedicated companions of Sung Jin-woo. In the present timeframe of the narrative, Igris holds the rank of Marshal Grade shadow, indicating that he is one of the most powerful soldiers in Jin-Woo’s vast army of shadows.
In a hypothetical one-on-one fight, even with all of his powers, Yuji would still be unable to defeat Igris. This is because Igris, being a shadow soldier and not a real person, has the upper hand in almost every aspect. As a result, there is no situation in which Yuji could come out as the winner against Igris.
4) Bellion
Based on their respective strengths, it is highly probable that a duel between Bellion and Yuji would result in a more unfavorable outcome for the latter compared to a match against Igris. This is primarily due to the fact that Bellion holds the title of being the most powerful shadow soldier under Sung Jin-woo’s leadership.
Bellion was once a Grand Marshal in Ashborn’s army, serving under the original Shadow Monarch. Upon his first appearance, he demonstrated his formidable abilities by easily defeating one of Jin-woo’s strongest soldiers in a sparring match.
Despite Bellion’s superiority in every aspect, it is crucial to note that there is no way to completely defeat him as he is ultimately dependent on Jin-woo’s mana level as a shadow. This makes the potential result of a fight between them quite obvious.
I take
Beru is a formidable member of Sung Jin-Woo’s shadow army, second only to Igris and surpassed by Bellion. He was once the Ant King of Jeju Island, but after being defeated by Jin-woo, he was transformed into a shadow soldier.
Beru’s loyalty to Jin-Woo is unwavering, often producing a comical effect. However, when given permission by his master, Beru unleashes his innate thirst for battle, making him a formidable opponent. As a result, it can be inferred that defeating the shadow of the Ant King would be a difficult task for the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Antares
Referred to as both the Dragon King and the Monarch of Destruction, Antares is the ultimate enemy in Solo Leveling. He proved to be Jin-woo’s most formidable opponent yet, surpassing him in strength for a significant period of time.
Despite Yuji Itadori’s impressive strength, speed, durability, and fire magic, his power level pales in comparison to that of Antares, one of the most formidable beings in existence. In addition to his incredible abilities, Antares is also capable of transforming into an enormous red dragon. If by some chance a battle were to occur between Yuji and Antares, it is unlikely that the Jujutsu Kaisen protagonist would survive for more than a few minutes.
7) Sung Il-Hwan
Sung Jin-woo’s father, Sung Il-Hwan, was one of the original S-Rank Hunters in South Korea. Despite being trapped in a Dungeon for more than ten years and being possessed by a Ruler, he emerged as one of the most powerful Hunters in the world, potentially even surpassing his son in strength.
Nevertheless, in the original timeline, Il-Hwan’s demise occurred when he pushed himself too hard in a fight against two Monarchs. This was largely attributed to his body not fully adjusting to the powers granted to him by the Rulers.
In a hypothetical situation, Sung Il-Hwan would not have to exert himself to defeat Yuji, as the former is significantly stronger than the latter, despite having only appeared a few times in the original timeline of the series.
Ashborn
Before ascending to the rank of Monarch, Ashborn was renowned as the strongest Ruler and was hailed as the Greatest Fragment of Brilliant Light. Even in Solo Leveling, where powerful beings abound, Ashborn remained one of the most formidable, surpassed only by Antares and Sung Jin-woo, the current Shadow Monarch.
Due to his immense strength and various abilities such as Ruler’s Authority, Monarch’s Domain, and control over all shadows, Ashborn, the Shadow Monarch, was an unstoppable force. This makes Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen an unlikely contender to defeat such a formidable opponent.
