A Starfield easter egg triggers disturbing theories about a character beloved by players

Starfield’s lore and easter eggs have continually brought the community together. And recently, players discovered a new clue regarding the origins of one of the game’s most popular characters.

Starfield, with its massive open world including dozens of galaxies and star systems, the game also has a vast mythology.

Speaking of lore, easter eggs have been a major part of the Starfield gaming experience. Bethesda fans are constantly looking for clues about certain characters as they explore the galaxy. And that’s what recently happened to a Starfield player.

A Starfield player discovers an easter egg about Vasco’s past

So, Reddit user u/kwhudgins21 reportedly discovered some interesting information, finding an intriguing illustration on a whiteboard. This easter egg would indicate a disturbing lore about Vaco’s past.

The original poster said: “Are we being given an explanation? I found this whiteboard mentioning VASCO like it was a mysterious killer robot in a random place.” Pairing Vasco with a killer robot may seem absurd to many players, but others have assured it’s not impossible.

Is this ever explained? I found this white board mentioning VASCO like he is a mysterious murder bot at a random POI. byu/kwhudgins21 inStarfield

Additionally, one of the players confirmed that the robot mentioned in the screenshot was indeed Vasco. Indeed, its serial number is supposed to be VAS-119, the same as the one on the whiteboard.

Another player thought this might just be true, as he always felt Vasco was once a “robot with a penchant for murder.”In addition, as players find Vasco for the first time with Barrett, the commentator recalled that it is the famous robot who “persuades”us to join Constellation.

Some suggest this could be “an incredible backstory”for future Vasco DLC. Others have researched the robot’s past, but have been unable to obtain concrete information on its origins.

There is no information about Vasco’s past aside from his relationship with Barrett, so much remains open to speculation and theories from Starfield fans. However, Bethesda is known for resolving doubts about lore, as they did with the Elder Scrolls series, so many expect more information about the robot to be released soon.
