The developers behind Dispatch are currently considering the potential for a second season, a prospect that seemed uncertain just weeks ago.
This game merges strategic simulation elements with an engaging storyline about a retired superhero tasked with managing a team of heroes and former villains. Its unique blend of gameplay has quickly captured the attention of gamers worldwide.
In just under a month since its release, Dispatch has already made a significant impact, boasting sales exceeding 1 million copies within the first ten days. It holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive”rating on Steam, positioning itself as one of the highest-rated games of 2025, indicating robust demand from players.
Recent Developments on Season 2
As highlighted by Eurogamer, the notion of a second season was discussed during an interview on The Friends Per Second podcast. This conversation included insights from Adhoc Studio’s co-founders, Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette, regarding their upcoming projects.

While Dispatch is still unfolding—with its finale set to air on November 12, 2025—fans have already expressed their desire for the narrative to continue. Many players have voiced their attachment to the characters, declaring they’re “not ready to say goodbye.”
Even Aaron Paul, the voice behind the main character, has shared his hopes for further seasons. During a discussion with Moist Critical, who voices Sonar in the game, he remarked:
