Actor Prevents IU from Grilling Meat: Discover the Reason Behind It

In an episode titled “[IU’s Palette] DREAM will showcase everything that comes with movie promotions (With ‘DREAM’ team) Ep.20,” released on IU’s official YouTube channel, the beloved singer amusingly recounted an incident where she was prevented from grilling meat.

During the conversation, Heo Joon Seok shared how he became part of the film “Dream.”Initially, the actor hesitated after his initial discussion with director Lee Byeong Heon. However, once the director revealed that both Park Seo Joon and IU were involved, he quickly reconsidered.

Heo Joon Seok recalled that a standout moment during the filming was the first dinner following the script reading session.

“After our initial script reading, we decided to have some barbecue, and IU was sitting directly across from me,” he revealed. He added, “I usually excel at grilling, but IU insisted on taking over the grilling duties.”

Unfortunately, IU ended up charred 90% of the meat, leaving only her own unburnt piece. This prompted Heo Joon Seok to request the tongs from her, leading to some light-hearted laughter.

This incident ignited quite a reaction among Korean viewers, particularly those who have a strong passion for well-cooked meat.
