After becoming a successful actor, he finally admitted that his original motivation for pursuing acting was to meet Girls’ Generation’s leader, Taeyeon.
During his appearance on the MBC talk show “Radio Star,”actor Kang Hoon discussed his reasons for pursuing action.
He disclosed that his motivation for pursuing action was his desire to meet Girls’ Generation! He had brainstormed ways to come across the girl group and concluded that acting would give him the opportunity. He declared,
“I was thinking of ways I could meet Girls’ Generation. Then I thought to myself, ‘Couldn’t I become an actor?’ That’s how I began wanting to act.”
When questioned about his preferred member of Girls’ Generation, Kang Hoon quickly replied without hesitation. He declared that Taeyeon is his ultimate favorite member, and despite never having met her, he is a devoted fan who owns multiple pieces of her merchandise. He also mentioned that she is the only idol he has ever admired.
Kang Hoon expressed his wish to be a guest on “Amazing Saturday,”a show that features Taeyeon as a member of the cast. He plans to share with her how she has been a source of inspiration for his acting career. He stated,
“My favorite is Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon. She was the first and last idol I have ever liked. I haven’t met her eye. I own a lot of CDs signed by her and I even own her name tag. I want to appear on ‘Amazing Saturday’ and talk to her about how she inspired me to become an actor.”
After taking the extra step, Kang Hoon openly expressed his love for the idol and heartfully addressed her, saying,
“Since you were there during my younger days, I was able to work hard and debut as an actor. I want to thank you. I have your CDs at home, and I hope you’ll be able to sign them when I meet you. My love for you was like fire… Oh, never mind…”
After reading the post, Korean netizens were charmed by his confession and expressed their wishes for the actor to make an appearance on “Amazing Saturday”and meet Taeyeon.
