Adin Ross has recently expressed his discontent with the Kick platform, stating that it is currently “lacking” in several aspects. As a result, he plans to bring his significant streams back to Twitch, committing to not run advertisements during these broadcasts.

Following the lifting of his long-standing ban on Twitch on March 30, Ross anticipated a return to the platform. However, he has only streamed live twice since then and has indicated a desire to proceed cautiously with his content strategy.

Primarily, Ross has continued his regular gambling streams on Kick, collaborating with various other streamers, including notable guests like Drake on the Stake-backed service. Despite this activity, he feels the time has come to redirect some of his major streaming efforts back to Twitch.

Return to Twitch for Major Streams

On November 11, Ross announced his intention to return to Twitch for specific events, stating, “Hey guys, I’ll be streaming on Twitch for the 6ix9ine stream and the Carti stream. No point in doing big streams on Kick.”

He explained, “At least on Twitch, I will gain followers and mainstream growth. I promise I won’t run ads; just doing Twitch for discoverability since Kick is lacking right now.” While some fans pointed out that he has made similar statements previously, Ross is adamant about his commitment this time around. He added, “I will still do Kick for game nights, regular desktops, gambling, and streams that make sense for Kick.”

Speculation arose that this move could be part of a strategy to renegotiate terms with Kick and Stake for a more favorable deal, which Ross has denied. He clarified, “No, they’re not budging lol, I’m not on Stake so I don’t really get a say… Twitch it is.”

His last significant collaboration on Kick was with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, a specific date for the upcoming 6ix9ine stream has yet to be announced.
