On May 27, the first girl group aespa held a showcase in Seoul to celebrate the launch of their debut full album “Armageddon” .
In regards to the distinctive AI scenes featured in aespa’s music video for “Supernova”, Karina expressed her initial apprehension. While it aligned with our concept, I couldn’t help but wonder if it would be well-received. We constantly questioned if it was the right direction and if it was the final version. However, as we received various reactions, I came to realize the importance of trusting our company’s decision.
At the same time, Ningning chimed in, revealing, “After watching the AI scene in ‘Supernova’, I spent some time by myself. It was a surprising moment and it made me contemplate deeply. Seeing the rise of AI covers and advancements in AI, I came to the realization that no matter how sophisticated AI becomes, it will never be able to replicate the warmth and expressions of humans. It was a comforting thought.”
In contrast, aespa’s latest album “Armageddon”was made available on multiple music platforms today at 6 PM (KST).
