During a recent baseball game, aespa Karina gained widespread attention for her stunning looks and impressive pitching abilities while throwing the first pitch.
Karina attended the opening of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League’s doubleheader game 2 between SSG Landers and Lotte Giants on June 9.
The K-pop star’s first pitch since her debut took place at Sajik Stadium in Busan, where a large crowd of baseball fans gathered to witness the event.
Despite the anticipation, the long-awaited moment was nearly jeopardized when Karina’s conflicting schedule was disclosed.
According to reports, the match was originally planned for the 8th but was cancelled due to rain. As a result, it has been rescheduled for the 9th at 2 p.m.
Despite having two fan signing events scheduled on the same day, Karina managed to attend both. The first event was in Busan at 1 p.m. and the second one was in Daegu at 8 p.m.
If the initial doubleheader game ran longer than anticipated, Karina would be forced to cancel her scheduled appearance due to her need to travel from Busan to Daegu.
