aespa set to break record for longest time at No.1 with “Supernova”

The hit song “Supernova”from aespa’s debut full-length album has held the top position on the Melon weekly chart (June 10th~16th) for a total of 4 weeks. This ties with the four-week reign of IU’s “Love Wins All”, solidifying “Supernova”as the longest-running No.1 track of the year and demonstrating aespa’s commanding impact in the music industry.

Furthermore, “Supernova”maintained its dominance on the weekly charts of Bugs and Genie for 5 and 4 weeks in a row, respectively. “Armageddon”, another title track, continues to hold a spot in the top 10 of major music charts. Together, these two tracks have earned a total of 10 wins on music shows, showcasing the group’s impressive record-breaking streak.

On May 27th, aespa’s highly anticipated first full-length album, “Armageddon,”was released. The album showcases 10 diverse tracks, including the powerful double title tracks, “Supernova”and “Armageddon.”Critics have applauded the album for its exceptional composition and ability to capture aespa’s distinctive perspective and concept. Jamsil Arena in Seoul will be the venue for aespa’s second concert, “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE -,”which will take place on June 29th and 30th.
