Aespa’s Karina’s Casual Summer Fashion: No Dress Up Occasions

On August 21, an interview video titled “Karina’s Summer Preferences from A to Z”was released on Cosmopolitan Korea’s official channel.

During the video, Karina was prompted to share her top picks for summer dishes. She eagerly responded, “I am a big food lover. I highly recommend trying kongguksu (cold noodle soup with soybean paste), don-naengmyeon (a mix of pork cutlet and chilled noodles), yogurt ice cream, and bingsu (shaved ice).”When asked about her ultimate favorite, she confidently stated, “I have to go with cold soba.”

When asked about her personal strategies for staying cool in hot weather, Karina shared, “I have two main tricks. First, I make sure to keep my hair tied up because it gets too hot if I leave it down. And second, I wear sleeveless tops often.”

When questioned about her ideal summer holiday destinations, she revealed, “I would love to visit Jeju Island in Korea. I have only been there once since my birth. For international trips, I am interested in going to Hawaii or the Bahamas.”Additionally, she suggested, “Instead of a particular place, I always opt for a beach for my summer vacation. If you are planning for a summer vacation, I suggest heading to a beach.”

Karina justified her love for the ocean by stating, “Mountains can be challenging. While the feeling of accomplishment after conquering them is gratifying, I have a low tolerance for muscle soreness. I would rather unwind and rejuvenate at the seaside.”

Additionally, she revealed her go-to summer wardrobe, explaining, “Anyone close to me would attest to my preference for sleeveless tops, wide pants, chunky footwear, and shirts or jackets. As there aren’t many occasions that call for dressing up, I prioritize comfort. However, due to the possibility of chilly indoor settings, I make sure to always have outerwear on hand.”

Karina expressed her fondness for summer nights over days, admitting, “I tried to appear undecided, but truthfully, I can’t stand the heat. I am unable to spend time outdoors during scorching summer days. Nights are more comfortable for me.”
