aespa’s Winter Shares Amusement Park Experience: “Two-Hour Wait for Healing, Yet Nobody Recognized Me”

Winter’s Walks and Amusement Park Adventures: A Glimpse into Her Life

On November 3rd, Winter, a prominent member of the K-pop group aespa, made an appearance on the online platform “BDNS,” engaging in an insightful discussion with host Moon Sang-hoon.

Rediscovering Joy in Walking

During the conversation, Moon Sang-hoon inquired about Winter’s thoughts on walking. With enthusiasm, she responded, “Yes, I really enjoy walking. I get bored easily, so even if I have a set route, I’ll take a side path or even walk down a completely unknown road.” This penchant for exploration reflects her adventurous spirit.

Further, Winter revealed that her walking experiences are often accompanied by music rather than deep introspection. “It depends on my mood, but lately, I’ve been enjoying zitten’s ‘White Night’ and also ‘Shampoo Fairy’ by Light and Salt,” she shared, indicating her diverse taste in music.

A Day Off: Balancing Rest and Fun

When discussing her day-off habits, Winter noted, “When I’m resting alone, I still try to make some plans. For me, the best plan is not scheduling exercise or self-care routines. But I end up scheduling them anyway, so my goal is to not do that.” This highlights the challenge of finding true leisure in a demanding career.

She added, “Since it’s a job where I can’t really relax fully, sometimes going out without a plan, hanging out with my members, or visiting an amusement park feels like a true holiday,” emphasizing the importance of spontaneous enjoyment in her life.

Amusement Park Escapades

When asked about her amusement park visits, Winter recounted a pre-concert outing: “Before the concert, just focusing on practice made things feel overwhelming, with too much to memorize and stress about. Since practice didn’t start until the afternoon, I asked one of the dancers, ‘Do you want to go to an amusement park?’ So we went, wearing hats and masks, and rode some rides. Even that was healing for me.”

Moon Sang-hoon humorously commented on the thrill of being recognized while riding roller coasters. Winter laughed, agreeing, “The ride we went on had a really long line, and we waited over two hours, but no one recognized me,” showcasing her ability to balance celebrity life with casual enjoyment.

Pre-Performance Rituals

In discussing whether aespa engages in pre-performance rituals akin to athletes, Winter remarked, “I don’t think we do that before recording. But before going on stage, we’ll shout ‘Ah~!’ and sometimes jump around a bit.” These lighthearted traditions help to build camaraderie among the group before taking the stage.

Recent Musical Endeavors

Aespa has been making waves in the music industry with the recent release of their fifth mini-album, titled *Whiplash*, showcasing their evolving artistry and commitment to their craft.
