This guide covers all of the tasks and rewards included in the Pokemon GO Glitz and Glam Special Research, as well as the event-specific Field Research tasks and rewards.

Special Research Tasks and Rewards for Pokemon GO’s Glitz and Glam Event

The Glitz and Glam Special Research will be accessible to all Trainers who sign in to Pokemon GO from May 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM in their local time. The best part is that it’s completely free and has no expiration date! All you have to do is sign in to access the Special Research and finish the designated tasks at your own convenience.

The Glitz and Glam Special Research collection includes tables listing each task and its corresponding reward. The rewards for completing all tasks in the set will be listed afterwards.

Glitz and Glam (1/6)

Spin 5 PokeStops or Gyms Poke Ball x5
Power up Pokemon 10 times Encounter with Nosepass
Catch 20 Pokemon Pinap Berry x3
Pokemon GO Glitz and Glam Special Research Tasks and Rewards (1/6)

The prizes for finishing all the aforementioned tasks and claiming their rewards are:

  • 2000 XP,
  • an encounter with Roggenrola,
  • The package also includes one (1) Lure Module.

Part 2 – Glitz and Glam

Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokemon Encounter with Swirlix

Upon completion of all the aforementioned tasks and collecting their respective rewards, the following rewards will be received:

  • 2000 XP,
  • an encounter with Sableye,
  • Moreover, there is also one (1) Incense included.

Third Part

Upon completing all of the tasks and collecting their respective rewards, the following rewards will be received:

  • 2000 XP,
  • an encounter with Carbink,
  • The package also includes one (1) Lucky Egg.

Glitz and Glam: Chapter 4

Pokemon GO Glitz and Glam Special Research Tasks and Rewards (4/6)

Upon finishing all the tasks and obtaining their corresponding rewards, the following benefits will be received:

  • 2000 XP,
  • an encounter with Diancie*,
  • Additionally, the player will receive 2000 Stardust.

Please take note that if you have completed the Pokemon GO Fest 2023 Special Research, which includes Diancie, you will be rewarded with Diancie Candy instead of encountering Diancie.

The benefits for finishing all the tasks mentioned and obtaining their corresponding rewards are:

  • 2000 XP,
  • 3000 Diancie Mega Energy,
  • Additionally, three Golden Razz Berries were included.

Day 6: Glitz and Glam

The benefits for obtaining all of the aforementioned rewards are:

  • 2000 XP,
  • 100 Diancie Mega Energy,
  • In addition, there are also 25 stickers included that feature Diancie.

Pokemon GO Glitz and Glam-Themed Field Research Tasks and Rewards

During the time period of Wednesday, May 1 at 12:00 AM to Friday, May 3 at 11:59 PM (local time), while spinning Photo Discs at PokeStops, you may come across the following Field Research tasks.

Although the Field Research tasks will not be available for an extended period of time, the Special Research will remain accessible indefinitely. As you complete the Special Research tasks, you can also take part in future events, such as the Pokemon GO Rivals Week event.
