Release Date Update

As of now, there is no confirmed release date for Haunted Chocolatier. Barone noted that development truly began in 2020, indicating that a launch is likely still some time away as he operates solo. In a blog post, he mentioned, “I haven’t even gotten to the good stuff yet. I’ve been mostly working on the ‘meat and potatoes’ of the game so far.”

Adding to the anticipation, in August 2024, ConcernedApe tweeted about delays, sharing, “I have not touched Haunted Chocolatier in a long time because I am committed to finalizing Stardew 1.6 first, ” which he addressed to his loyal Stardew players on console and mobile platforms.
