Netflix has published its full K-drama schedule for 2024, and hits are already expected, such as season 2 of Squid Game or new releases in the style of Mr. Plankton.
Every year, fans of Korean series are on alert: because Netflix has gotten into the habit of publishing its K-drama programming around February, for the entire year to come. Indeed, the streaming platform understood that the land of calm mornings was a source of attractive productions, and did well by offering them on our screens.

Can we make the title more explicit? Chicken Nugget adapts a webtoon straight from the Naver platform. Initially announced in 2022 thanks to Kim Yoo-jung, it will talk about… chicken nuggets.

Parasyte: The Gray was initially announced by Netflix in 2022. Adapting the manga Parasite by Hitoshi Iwaaki, the K-drama will be directed by Yeon Sang-ho, the director behind Last Train to Busan. The Korean series focuses on the arrival on Earth of a mysterious parasite that takes control of the human hosts – and forces them to kill each other.
Humanity must try to fight to survive. Jung Soo-in (Jeon So-nee) was infected by a parasite, but it failed to take control of her brain. She and the parasite must now live in harmony. Seol Gang-woo (Koo Gyo-wan) hunts parasites in hopes of finding his younger sister. As for Choi Joon-hyung (Lee Jung-hyun), she became the leader of the response team after losing her husband to a parasite.
The 8-Show

Part of Netflix’s K-drama selection for 2024, Hierarchy focuses on a prestigious and elite school in South Korea. Only those chosen from birth among the richest families are allowed to enroll, since it was founded by the Jooshin Group conglomerate.
Which includes the first daughter of the family that runs the Jaeyool Group, a successor to the Jooshin Group, and the youngest daughter of a trading company. The school is rooted in its elitist power struggles, until the arrival of a new student. Jang Ha (Lee Chae-min) has a charming smile and seems harmless. But his transfer to Jooshin High School risks shaking its foundations.
The Creature of Kyongsong – season 2

Han So-hee and Park Seo-joon return for season 2 of The Creature from Kyongsong. The Netflix K-drama is set to resume its story in 2024, while propelling it into a modern Korea. Mr. Plankton

Woo Do-hwan returns to Netflix K-dramas after his success in Bloodhounds, this time with a new series for 2024. Mr. Plankton is one of those series topping fans’ lists since its announcement. The Korean series focuses on Hae-jo (Woo), a man who feels unloved and believes he shouldn’t have been born: he is looked down upon because of his real biological father.
After discovering a surprising truth, he sets out to find it and meets Jo Jae-mi (Lee Yoo-mi). The latter is unhappy, but has always dreamed of having a family.
