TikTok sensation Angry Reactions has announced his intention to resume creating content, despite his previous decision to step away from social media following his arrest on domestic violence charges several months ago.
In February 2024, Oneya Johnson, a well-known TikTok personality known as ‘Angry Reactions’, was taken into custody for allegations of domestic violence following a disagreement with his former partner, Sierra, at a hotel in California.
Despite the eventual dismissal of the charges against him, Johnson announced his decision to resign from his role as an influencer, stating that “things will never be the same”after everything that had transpired.
Despite his previous stance, during a May 14 episode of the No Jumper podcast with host Adam22, he revealed a change in his perspective on the matter.
Johnson opened up during their conversation, sharing his emotional state and revealing that he had contemplated leaving the internet even before his arrest and the resulting consequences.
“He shared, “I had been considering it, but never did I envision it happening in this manner. Perhaps it is a sign from the universe or a higher power, guiding me towards fulfilling my destiny.”
Although he had doubts, the TikToker made a promise to return to social media. He acknowledged that he must address his current situation before diving back into the metaphorical saddle.
He expressed, “This situation has greatly affected me…but I have every intention of returning. This setback does not define me as a creator. However, at the moment, I am unsure of how to overcome this hurdle.”

Johnson also expressed that his ex-partner’s allegations against him have had a profound impact on him. He stated that Sierra’s actions are making it challenging for him to spend time with their son, whom he cares for deeply.
Johnson rose to stardom on TikTok in 2022. The content creator gained widespread recognition for his comical videos featuring upbeat messages delivered with a scowling face.
On February 12, Johnson and Sierra were involved in a heated dispute at a hotel, resulting in a call to the Burbank Police. According to reports, the altercation started as a verbal disagreement before escalating to physical altercation between the two individuals.
Despite not needing any medical assistance, Johnson was still required to pay $5,000 bail after the incident. He shared his perspective on the situation in a YouTube video titled ‘addressing the accusations,’ stating that he had acted in self-defense as he was “assaulted”by Sierra.
Following his case, he provided an update to his viewers in a brief TikTok video, revealing that he had been deemed “not guilty”and that his case had been “dismissed.”
Despite Sierra’s continued allegations of physical abuse by Johnson, she shared “proof”of the abuse on March 24 through now-deleted videos on TikTok. In these videos, she claimed that Johnson had threatened her with a gun and caused damage to her belongings.
Ever since, Sierra has removed her videos and asserted that she is “just trying to gain trust from others.”
Johnson explains that he is currently working through the situation with Sierra and making efforts to visit their son. He looks forward to returning to content creation once the situation is resolved.
