Apple makes available to developers iOS 16.4 Beta 4.

The latest beta update for developers is now available. Apple has released iOS 16.4 Beta 4 for developers, and it will be available to public beta testers later today or tomorrow, like with previous beta upgrades. The public build is soon here, thanks to the fourth beta. The anticipated release date may be seen here.

iOS 16.4 will be the next major update for iPhones running iOS 16. The most recent beta 3 update was published last week, and it included various modifications and enhancements. Furthermore, as the release date approaches, we anticipate a slew of repairs and enhancements rather than major changes.

Apple also published iPadOS 16.4 Beta 4, watchOS 9.4 Beta 4, macOS Big Sur 11.7.5 RC 4, macOS Monterey 12.6.4 RC 4, and macOS Ventura 13.3 Beta 4 alongside iOS 16.4 Beta 4. The build number for the fourth iOS 16.4 beta is 20E5239b. And it’s possible that this is the final beta update or the second last beta before the release candidate build.

As previously said, we do not anticipate major changes, although there will be some bug fixes. It’s because Apple will now prioritize reliability over new features. We haven’t seen any significant modifications as of yet. We’ll let you know as soon as we locate it.

The beta update is currently accessible to developers. Thus, if you’ve checked in with your developer account on your iPhone, you’ll get the update. Because the new update mechanism is still broken, some users with developer profiles are also receiving the update. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for updates.

Before installing the new version, make a backup of all your vital data and charge your phone to 50%.
