Oshi no Ko Chapter 161 reveals Aqua’s cunning strategy to confront Hikaru once and for all while avenging his mother.
The quest for vengeance is a pivotal element in the storyline of Oshi no Ko. Ever since discovering the details surrounding Ai’s murder, Aqua has been relentlessly pursuing revenge against Hikaru Kamiki, Ruby, and his biological father.
Following a series of shocking twists and betrayals, Aqua and Hikaru find themselves at the edge of a cliff during Kana’s farewell concert. As B-Komachi and Ruby deliver their most remarkable performance yet, Chapter 160 uncovers Hikaru’s significant involvement in Ai’s death.
The previous chapter concludes with Aqua poised to stab Hikaru, aiming to put an end to his continuous manipulations. However, in Oshi no Ko Chapter 161, Aqua is forced to contemplate the ramifications of this drastic action.
Aqua about to stab Hikaru in Oshi no Ko
The older Hoshino twin realizes that if he kills Hikaru, he will face imprisonment, which could irreparably damage Ruby’s reputation. She would forever be labeled as a murderer’s sister, jeopardizing her career in the entertainment industry.
Consequently, he devises a scheme that eliminates Hikaru while safeguarding Ruby. Aqua plans to stage it as if Hikaru stabbed him before both tumble off the edge. This way, Hikaru would be eliminated for good, with no chance to manipulate anyone else.
Yet, it’s unclear whether Aqua intends to end their lives in the fall. It seems illogical for him to commit suicide when his actions are motivated by a desire to protect Ruby. Moreover, by framing Hikaru as the assailant, it’s likely Aqua wishes for both of them to survive.
It appears that Aqua has already arranged the details of the fall, planning to mislead the authorities about Hikaru’s attack and their resulting plunge. This would certainly mean Hikaru’s arrest, allowing Aqua’s quest for revenge to conclude.
The truth will unfold when Oshi no Ko Chapter 161 is released on September 25, 2024.
