Just 2.5 months post-launch, Embark Studios has introduced a significant content update for ARC Raiders. This update features a host of exciting additions, including a new Cold Snap weather condition, the Flickering Flames event, a fresh Raider Deck, an array of new quests, items, and an engaging Expedition.
Below, you will find key highlights and crucial details regarding the Cold Snap update for ARC Raiders!
Overview of the Cold Snap Update

Flickering Flames Event: Accessible through the Raiders tab under Projects, players will need to collect and donate various materials, including the new Candleberries, to earn rewards, similar to the Expedition feature.
As players accumulate Merits during this event, they will simultaneously progress through the Gathering Candleberries initiative. This offers a free Battle Pass-like experience, complete with various rewards based on the Merits earned.
Cold Snap Weather: The newly introduced “Cold Snap” weather conditions are now functional in the game, appearing upon queuing for maps. This feature shares similarities with the Electromagnetic Storm maps. Players can harvest Candleberries, discover increased loot, but must beware of cold damage if they linger too long outside shelters.
New Quests: Fresh chain quests from Apollo are now live, focusing on maps like Spaceport and Blue Gate, enhancing the gameplay experience.
