Players of Arc Raiders are growing increasingly concerned as they believe that the game’s largest enemies, known as Emporers, are gradually moving closer, potentially signaling an imminent attack.
The game already features a variety of robotic foes, ranging from nimble Wasps to formidable Matriarchs and The Queen. However, the looming presence of the Emporers — massive foes that dwarf everything else in the maps — has captured the community’s attention since the game’s release.
Increased Presence of Emporers Sparks Speculation
Recently, players have noted that these gigantic adversaries have begun appearing nearer to playable areas, particularly on maps like Blue Gate and Buried City. Initially, these towering figures were merely background elements; however, they now seem to linger close to the borders of the game maps, provoking curiosity and tension among players.
A surge of social media posts indicates a growing unease among players, with many asking, “Are the Emporers truly getting closer?”

Considerable speculations surround the possible introduction of these Emporers. While Embark Studios has yet to provide any official commentary regarding their inclusion, players are eager to know what might happen if these titans move too close. Some gamers predict that this could herald a new endgame challenge requiring cooperation to strategize and defeat these colossal foes.
However, others express skepticism over the feasibility of having such large enemies spawn on existing maps filled with structures and uneven terrain. One player conjectured, “Maybe a new map is on the horizon. We could find ourselves spawning right near the Emporers, requiring us to band together to achieve objectives from within their stronghold.”
While these theories inspire excitement, there remains the possibility that the Emporers are not necessarily encroaching. It could be that additional spawn points have been introduced, resulting in their variable appearances across different matches.
Regardless of the uncertainty, there’s no denying that after battling The Queen for an extended period, the player community is ready for the arrival of the Emporers, eager for what could be their most formidable challenge yet.
