Twitch sensation Asmongold has made headlines by earning significantly more in just two days streaming on Kick than he did in an entire month on Twitch. This remarkable comparison showcases the potential of emerging streaming platforms like Kick.
On June 2, Asmongold made the strategic decision to transition his streaming efforts to Kick while simultaneously multistreaming on Twitch, a move that has attracted considerable attention to the Stake-backed platform.
Rather than signing a massive agreement akin to Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel’s $100 million contract, Asmongold instead opted for the Kick Partner Program. This initiative allows content creators to earn revenue based on their viewership, in addition to retaining a substantial 95% of all subscription income.
Comparing Earnings: Kick vs. Twitch
By June 4, while conducting just his third stream on Kick, Asmongold decided to analyze and compare his earnings from both platforms. His findings revealed a stark contrast.
Through his Twitch dashboard, it was disclosed that from May 6 to June 4, he logged just under 211 hours on Twitch, accumulating approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes in ad breaks and garnering 11, 453 subscriptions, resulting in total earnings of $32, 371.
In contrast, his two streams on Kick yielded an impressive $36, 910. The breakdown of this achievement is staggering: on June 2, he earned $19, 703, followed by $17, 207 on June 3, all from two broadcasts lasting six and seven hours respectively.

Asmongold is not alone in his astonishment at the lucrative opportunities available on Kick. His fellow streamer, Tectone, who joined the platform at the same time, stated that he was earning **eight times more** than his previous Twitch earnings within hours of his first broadcast.
According to Asmongold, the surge in subscribers following his announcement even overwhelmed Kick’s servers, suggesting that his earnings could have been even higher if the platform had operated smoothly during the influx.
Looking ahead, it will be intriguing to see how Asmongold’s earnings stack up after a month on Kick, especially as he is reportedly discussing broadcasting to X, a platform he is in talks with Elon Musk about.
