IST has released an official statement announcing that ATBO member Seok Rakwon will be leaving the group due to health concerns.

On May 6, IST Entertainment agency issued an official statement through Weverse and X (Twitter) platforms, announcing the departure of Seok Rakwon from the group ATBO.

According to reports, the agency initially expressed gratitude towards the fans who have continuously shown support for ATBO and also conveyed their regret for sharing the distressing news. They then revealed that Seok Rakwon had departed from the group due to health concerns.

Despite experiencing anxiety symptoms, Seok Rakwon took a hiatus in March which allowed him to prioritize his recovery. The agency also disclosed that they had engaged in multiple discussions with Seok Rakwon regarding his future activities during this time.

Following multiple discussions, it was ultimately decided that Seok Rakwon would prioritize his well-being, resulting in the conclusion of his involvement in group activities with ATBO. IST then ensured that ATBO would continue their group activities as a six-membered group.

In closing, IST urged fans to continue showing their enthusiastic support for ATBO’s future activities and efforts, as well as for Seok Rakwon’s complete recovery.

“Hello. This is IST Entertainment.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the fans who love ATBO, and we would also like to apologize for delivering sad news.

We are here to inform you that ATBO member Seok Rakwon has left the group because of health reasons. Earlier this March, Seok Rakwon underwent a hiatus due to symptoms of anxiety, leading him to focus on recovering his health during his break.

While he was on hiatus, the agency held several discussions with Seok Rakwon regarding his activities and status in the group. After numerous exchanges and thorough planning, it was decided that his health be considered as the top priority.

With this in mind, Seok Rakwon officially wrapped up his activities with ATBO, as the group will proceed to promote as a six-membered group. Once again, we want to apologize who must have been shocked by the abrupt news.

Even if Seok Rakwon’s activities with ATBO are about to conclude, we kindly ask everyone to support him in his recovery. Please also show support for ATBO’s six members in their upcoming ventures in the future.
