ATEEZ’s ‘GOLDEN HOUR: Part 1’ Tops Billboard 200 Chart and Sets Record for Highest Sales in K-Pop History

The group’s music has appeared on various international music charts.

On June 9, Billboard announced that ATEEZ’s 10th mini album “GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1″had debuted on its Top 200 Albums chart. The album reached No. 2 on the chart, second only to Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Luminate went into further detail about the outcome, announcing that ATEEZ’s album “GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1″had achieved a total of 131,000 equivalent album units for the week ending on June 6. This accomplishment also resulted in the release having the highest U.S. sales week for a K-pop album in 2024.

The platform reported that “GOLDEN HOUR: Part. 1″achieved 127,000 traditional album sales and 4,000 equivalent albums, resulting in a total of 6.15 million on-demand streams.

Besides achieving success on Billboard, ATEEZ also made a splash in the United Kingdom by topping the U.K. Official Charts. The group achieved a historic feat by becoming the first K-pop group to have three different albums in the Top 10 of the Official Albums Chart within one year.

ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1″and its lead single “WORK.”were both dropped on May 31. Along with the title track, the album features additional tracks including ‘Golden Hour,””Blind,””Empty Box,””Shaboom,”and “Siren.”
