Attract Takes Legal Action Against Warner Music Korea and Ex-FIFTY FIFTY Members Over Allegations of Tampering

On the 14th, Attract issued a statement confirming that they have obtained comprehensive legal evidence demonstrating that Warner Music Korea, The Givers, and former FIFTY FIFTY members Aran, Saena, and Sio engaged in collusion to breach their exclusive contracts and attempted tampering.

They stated, “We have secured voice recordings from meetings held on May 13, May 17, and June 6, 2023, along with additional materials. These tampering forces, as discussed in their voice recordings, filed a provisional injunction on June 19, 2023, to suspend the terms of their exclusive contracts with Attract.”

Attract further asserted, “The concerns raised by the former FIFTY FIFTY members regarding health management, lack of support, and payment issues were proven false during court proceedings. The former members engaged in illegal actions solely with the intention of terminating their contracts, manipulating the truth, and misleading the public.”

The agency emphasized, “Warner Music Korea, the primary instigator behind the tampering, sought to unlawfully acquire our valuable artists through financial exploitation. We will not yield to this corporate pressure and will actively resist.”

Attract also expressed disappointment, stating, “It is profoundly regrettable that a company meant to foster the growth of K-pop through collaboration has been identified as the orchestrator of this troubling situation. Starting today, we will consider legal action against Warner Music Korea and hold all parties involved in the tampering liable.”
