As fans eagerly anticipate the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, set to premiere in November, Babybel has launched a captivating partnership with Netflix. This exciting collaboration introduces the Babybel Hellfire Cheese Alternative, a spicy, plant-based snack inspired by the show’s iconic Hellfire Club.
Notably, this is Babybel’s inaugural foray into spicy flavors, ingeniously combining its classic smooth texture with a bold, fiery twist. This launch coincides with the highly anticipated release of Stranger Things Season 5, which will be broadcast in three volumes starting November 26 on Netflix.
In line with current consumer trends, Babybel emphasizes that this release comes in response to the increasing popularity of spicy snacks, with recent data indicating that over 70% of consumers are seeking out heat-driven flavors. The Hellfire Cheese Alternative enhances Babybel’s growing array of cheese and cheese alternatives.
Availability of Babybel Hellfire Cheese Alternative
The Hellfire Cheese Alternative, inspired by Stranger Things, will be available in stores from October 2025 and will remain until January 2026. Initially exclusive to Kroger, it will subsequently expand to Albertsons and Brookshire in December, priced around $5.99 for a six-count pack.
Along with the fiery flavor, Babybel is also debuting limited-edition Stranger Things packaging for its Original Cheese, which will be featured at several major retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Kroger.

Jessica Dillon, Senior Brand Director, expressed enthusiasm for this partnership, highlighting that this crossover unites two beloved cultural phenomena—Stranger Things and spicy snacks—in a way that’s both exciting and refreshing.
Babybel joins a growing list of brands collaborating with Stranger Things ahead of the much-anticipated final season. Earlier this year, Chips Ahoy introduced a limited-edition strawberry-filled cookie in July, and in September, Doritos unveiled a special chip flavor paired with a Demogorgon dip.
