Banks hits out at claims new FaZe members are view botting Twitch streams

FaZe Banks has addressed allegations that recently added FaZe Members Lacy, Max, and Jason are using view botting just a few weeks after they were brought into a content house.

In April, CEO FaZe Banks announced that he was “rebooting”the renowned organization by releasing a significant portion of its roster, reducing it to just over a dozen members.

After signing FaZe Max, Silky, Lacy, and Jason, he wasted no time in unveiling a content house for the new members.

Upon seeing a screenshot of three new creators with over 18,000 viewers on Twitch, a fan of the org shared it with FaZe Banks, who then took to Twitter/X to generate excitement for the newcomers.

“While I have the utmost respect, it’s become clear that our actions are no longer driven by a desire to help others, but rather by our own personal pleasures and interests. Throughout my career, I’ve continuously defied expectations and this situation will be no exception. Always with love,”he stated.

This tweet sparked speculation among many Twitter/X users about whether the new FaZe members were view-botting. This refers to the belief that they are artificially increasing their Twitch view count by purchasing bots from a website.

FaZe Banks responded to the claims and defended the streamers by posting on Adin Ross’ community page on the site.

“The fact that some may think the boys are engaging in view botting only highlights the momentum that FaZe currently has. I want to make it clear that they are not doing so. They are simply working hard, enjoying themselves, and spreading love.

In June 2024, not only the new FaZe streamers but also Kick streamer N3on came under fire for allegedly using view-botting tactics. During a phone call on a June 20 stream, YouTuber JiDion called out N3on for botting.

JiDion confirmed, “Your stream is clearly being botted. However, I cannot definitively say that it is you who is responsible. If you claim innocence, then I will accept it. Nevertheless, the fact remains that the viewership is 1000% inflated through bots.”

Despite being accused, N3on swiftly refuted the allegations and proceeded to resume his stream after expressing his anger towards the YouTuber.
