He has collaborated with popular figures such as VTuber IronMouse and has actively participated in events like The Streamer Awards, even providing financial backing.
Despite his upbeat persona and activism, bbno$ has faced criticism on social media, particularly over the past year. Recently, allegations emerged claiming that the artist made racially charged comments toward a former high school classmate, a matter he has not publicly addressed.
On December 8, bbno$ announced his retirement in a tweet that read, “Thank you for the memories.” This statement echoed his awareness of the public’s sentiment, expressing a sense of duty to listen to his audience.“As you guys know, I am for the people, ” he stated.“And the people have asked me to stop making music. Online Negativity Influences bbno$’s Career Pause
During his appearance on the Fear& podcast on December 15, bbno$ elaborated on the challenges posed by pervasive online negativity. Speaking to co-hosts Will Neff, AustinShow, Hasan, and QTCinderella, he shared how the pressure from negative comments impacted him and his supporters: “I’ve just been bullied online. I’m obviously a small little pillar of positivity online. I get messages every day from my die-hards like, ‘I can’t keep up with the negativity. I’m trying.’”
He further reflected on his decision, stating, “Why not take a step away? It’s fine. I’ve done what I needed to do in my life. Maybe I come back, maybe I don’t. It was kind of a random feeling where I was like, you know what, I don’t have a normal life. I have free will. I can do whatever I want.”

Looking ahead, bbno$ is uncertain about his immediate plans. However, he expressed a desire to focus on personal well-being, stating, “I’m probably gonna take the majority of next year off and just think about my life. I really wanna buy a house and settle down.”
