During this age, your main focus should be on acquiring Food and Gold in order to advance to the next stage at a fast pace. Wood will not be of much use to you until the later stages, so it is not a priority. The Pharoah will play a crucial role throughout this age, particularly in maximizing your Food collection speed.

You should relocate some of your villagers at this stage in order to maintain a balance in your resource collection, with a focus on prioritizing Gold while also obtaining sufficient amounts of Food and Wood. This will help ensure that you are adequately prepared to begin constructing your army.

  • Construct 9 residential properties.

  1. Ensure that you have a total of 25 villagers, with 8 assigned to gather Food, 10 to gather Gold, and 7 to gather Wood.
  2. Explore the surrounding regions with a combination of 5 military units and a Priest in order to gather Relics.

  5. Construct a market.

If your adversaries have not yet launched an attack, it is highly probable that they will do so. The key strategy is to swiftly assemble a formidable and diverse army, comprising of strong Myth units, regular soldiers, Siege units, and a Titan.

The most effective Egyptian build order for the Mythic Age is outlined below:

  1. Construct 4 houses.
  2. Build the Monument.
  3. Pharaoh should Empower the Town Center to raise the Population Cap.
  4. To increase efficiency, construct additional military structures that cater to the units you utilize.
  5. Improve farming, mining, and woodcutting.
  6. Increase your army size by two-fold once more, reaching a total of approximately 75-100 units.
  7. Construct the ultimate monument.
  8. Improve the effectiveness of military units.
  9. Study the Town Center to uncover the Secrets of the Titans.
  10. When you have gathered sufficient Favor, construct a Titan gate.

To progress to the Wonder Age you will need to build the classic Wonder building.

While it may not be a game-ending factor, the Wonder in Retold plays a significant role in concluding games. As you progress through the Wonder Age, your Egyptian units become more powerful and you are able to cast God Powers more efficiently and with lower cost.

As you approach the finish line, focus on utilizing your entire army to attack and defeat your enemies. Be prepared to reinforce your troops quickly if they are defeated by improving and building necessary military structures near the enemy.

When facing more experienced opponents in online or AI matches with a greater level of challenge, build orders may need to be adjusted based on enemy actions, the chosen deity, and unexpected events.

The predetermined build sequence will be followed for the first two stages, however, it is expected to be altered in Stage 3 as a result of enemy attacks and other influencing factors.
