2024 has already seen a plethora of highly anticipated titles released, with many more AAA games still set to debut before the end of the year. Here are the largest upcoming video game releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC in 2024 and their corresponding release dates.

Despite some major releases in the previous year, 2024 has continued its streak with numerous major launches such as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Hellblade 2. Fortunately, there is still a lot to look forward to in the remaining months, including new IPs and returning franchises.

Since its release in 2022, Elden Ring has been a smash hit both commercially and critically, solidifying its place as FromSoftware’s most successful game. With numerous awards under its belt, fans have eagerly awaited an opportunity to return to the unforgiving world.

Their wish is finally coming true with the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, the first major expansion for the game. This highly anticipated update will transport players to the menacing Lands of Shadow, featuring a plethora of terrifying foes, intriguing lore, and challenging boss battles.

Ever since its initial announcement in 2020, Black Myth: Wukong has remained a highly anticipated game in development. After much anticipation, players will finally have the opportunity to experience this ambitious action RPG exploring the depths of ancient Chinese mythology in August 2024.

Star Wars Outlaws continues to expand upon George Lucas’ popular science fiction universe, joining the ranks of the Jedi series. The game, created by the developers of The Division, utilizes Ubisoft’s well-established open-world approach, bringing it to life in iconic settings from the franchise.

During the time period between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, players will assume the role of criminal Kay Vess. They will have the opportunity to explore familiar locations such as Tatooine and Akiva, as well as discover new planets, as they embark on a daring heist. However, they must also be wary of The Empire’s pursuit.

Silent Hill 2 (October 8)

Our hero embarks on a thrilling journey around the world to track down a stolen artifact. While the character will be portrayed by Harrison Ford, his voice will be provided by renowned actor Troy Baker.
