On May 16th, the non-profit organization “Habitat for Humanity Korea”announced that BLACKPINK’s Jennie donated 100 million won on behalf of her fan club BLINK. The donation will go towards the construction of a school to aid Koryo-saram youth in their adjustment to Korean culture and society.

The contribution will support the development of the Rodem International Alternative School in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, which is being undertaken by Habitat for Humanity Korea. This school serves as a crucial platform for Koryo-saram youth who have relocated to Korea, providing them with the opportunity to balance their daily living and academic endeavors. In light of inadequate living conditions and the absence of official school recognition, the construction of a suitable school facility is of utmost importance.

Habitat for Humanity Korea conveyed their appreciation, stating, “We are grateful for Jennie’s sincere donation on behalf of her fan club BLINK, which will aid in the construction of a school that will enable children to pursue their aspirations. We are committed to ensuring the project begins promptly.”

At the same time, Jennie made an appearance in Zico’s latest single “SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)”, which dropped on April 26th at 6 PM.
