BobbyPoff Asserts PC Check Shows “No Evidence” of Hacking Following Warzone Ban

Twitch streamer BobbyPoff has faced a permanent ban from Call of Duty due to the game’s Ricochet anti-cheat system, but he strongly refutes any cheating allegations. To substantiate his claims, he revealed that a third-party PC inspection reported no signs of hacking software on his system.

On October 3, Poff took to social media to share a screenshot indicating that his Warzone account was permanently banned. He stated emphatically, “I’ve never cheated for a single second during my 90+ days of playing Warzone” and mentioned that he hasn’t been informed about the reasons behind the ban.

This incident triggered a flurry of discussion, rumors, and skepticism around both Bobby and the effectiveness of the anti-cheat system.

A considerable segment of his fanbase found it hard to believe that he would resort to cheating, leading many to speculate that it might be a wrongful ban that fell through the cracks.

Poff suggested that the circumstances surrounding his ban could stem from allowing others to access his account to upgrade his weapons, implying they might have exploited cheats during that time.

While he acknowledges this possibility, Bobby steadfastly denied having compromised his integrity in any way.

Just a week later, on October 9, he addressed his audience live, indicating that a third-party check on his PC—dating back to 2001—showed no evidence of wrongdoing.

During the stream, Bobby read the findings of the check, stating, “I did not find any software that fits the definition of cheats or anything intended to gain a competitive edge or harm the integrity of fair competition.”

He mentioned that the only item that might have appeared as cheating software could be his foot pedal, which is used to manage voice communications.

The investigation revealed no indications of tampering or any attempts to erase evidence on Bobby’s part.

According to Bobby, his account faced a permanent ban due to “access and manipulation of game data,” a conclusion allegedly reached by an internal staff member conducting an inquiry into the matter.

Moving forward, the long-term implications of this situation for the content creator are uncertain. Since he has cultivated his following largely around Warzone, overcoming the stigma associated with hacking allegations and a ban could prove challenging.
