Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15: Tension Peaks Between Shinju and Code as Boruto Unveils Amado’s Secret
Chapter 15 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex, titled “A Life Worth Living,”featured a flashback revealing Matsuri, Moegi’s Shinju, attacking the Hidden Sand Village. During the raid, she engaged in battle with Gaara, who was valiantly defending the village’s future generation, which included Shinki, Araya, and Yodo.
As the struggle progressed, Gaara began to reach his breaking point, while Shinki was determined to assist his father. Despite Gaara’s insistence on not jeopardizing the future generation for what he deemed a trivial issue, Shinki rushed to his side, sealing him within an iron sand prison.
Shinki believed that Gaara’s safety was crucial for the future of the Hidden Sand Village. However, in his moment of vulnerability, he fell victim to a Claw Grime that transformed him into a chakra tree. Before slipping into unconsciousness, he urged his teammates to flee and alert the village’s higher-ups about the precarious situation.
Matsuri was impressed by Shinki’s bravery and considered him a worthy addition to the Shinju. The narrative then transitioned to the Hidden Leaf Village, where Kankuro informed Shikamaru about the conflict between Gaara and the Shinju, highlighting that only Shinki could potentially free Gaara from his seal even after his transformation.
Kankuro expressed concern over Temari learning of the situation and advised Shikamaru to keep it under wraps. Meanwhile, a spy frog was depicted lurking in the Hokage’s chamber, eavesdropping on Kankuro and Shikamaru’s discussion.
Next, the focus shifted to the Ten-tails’ hideout, where Ryu was born from Shinki’s chakra. He promptly used his Iron Sand to extract Code from a different dimension, catching him eavesdropping on their conversation. Jura urged Ryu to spare Code for the moment, reminding all Shinju that they owed him gratitude for their existence.
Code quickly shifted to his agenda—claiming he alone deserved to consume the chakra fruit and inherit Isshiki Otsutsuki’s legacy. Jura playfully suggested that perhaps a Shinju might want the fruit instead, igniting Code’s fury as he launched an attack on Jura using his Claw Marks.
In retaliation, Jura severed one of Code’s arms with a powerful beam, prompting a pained scream from Code. Jura mocked Code’s life as lacking thrill and thus proposed a deal: Code would be tasked with locating and eliminating Boruto Uzumaki along with his mysterious ally (likely Kashin Koji), in exchange for which the Shinju would grant him the chakra fruit.
Code stemmed the bleeding from his severed limb and, despite his disadvantageous position, accepted Jura’s bargain. He exited swiftly using his Claw Marks, all while the Shinju taunted him for his predicament.
Jura posed a question to Ryu about who he felt compelled to consume, to which Ryu declared he wished to devour Gaara and possessed the capability to free Shinki from the iron prison. The scene then transitioned back to the Hokage Rock, where Boruto sat atop Naruto’s likeness.
Kawaki approached Boruto, exhibiting no immediate hostility. When Boruto inquired about Kawaki’s intentions, the latter chose not to respond directly, instead questioning why Boruto wasn’t striving to clear his name amongst the Hidden Leaf Village inhabitants.
Boruto explained that he preferred not to complicate matters unnecessarily, asserting that the situation in the Hidden Leaf Village was stable as it presently stood. He added that due to Sasuke’s mentorship, he was equipped to navigate his journey alone.
In response to Kawaki’s inquiries regarding Boruto’s karma and Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Boruto didn’t provide definitive answers, although his remarks hinted that Momoshiki could regain control upon the next activation of his Karma. Despite Kawaki’s eagerness to delve deeper into the topic, Boruto shifted the conversation toward a request for Kawaki’s assistance against the Shinju.
Boruto suggested that Kawaki might attempt to free Naruto and directly train under him, which he countered would be time-consuming. Instead, he revealed that Amado was curtailing Kawaki’s true potential while covertly observing them via a frog.
Amado was notably taken aback by Boruto’s knowledge and speculated that Boruto might be collaborating with Kashin Koji, if he were still alive. The chapter then returned to Hokage Rock, where Kawaki agreed to partner with Boruto, forming a temporary alliance to battle the Shinju.
