BTS Jungkook has recently become a hot topic due to his intriguing Instagram posts that seem to hint at the ongoing HYBE-ADOR conflict. Many are left wondering whether he is supporting or criticizing Min Hee Jin. In response, Big Hit Music has released an official statement.
On September 15th, Big Hit Music addressed the situation following Jungkook’s posts on Instagram the previous day.
The global icon garnered attention last Saturday when he posted cryptic captions on photos of his dog Bam, shared on a separate account.
In his first post, he declared, “Artists are not guilty,”accompanied by five hearts in various colors: blue, pink, yellow, green, and purple.
This led K-pop fans to speculate that he could be referencing NewJeans and their individual official colors, potentially indicating his support for the group amid the ongoing legal drama involving HYBE and ADOR.
The girl group is currently requesting Chairman Bang Si Hyuk to reinstate Min Hee Jin as ADOR’s CEO by the 25th, and netizens believe Jungkook’s posts may also be his way of supporting Min and NewJeans in their pursuit to restore the previous structure of the sub-label.
However, the K-pop community and ARMYs (BTS fans) were left puzzled when the “Seven”singer made another post stating, “Don’t use them.”
Fans clarified that rather than endorsing Min Hee Jin, Jungkook appears to be showing support only to NewJeans and calling out the former CEO for involving the girl group in adult matters.
In light of the confusion, Jungkook’s label explained the idol’s intentions behind the posts, stating:
“We have confirmed that he posted it because he thought that under no circumstances should young artists be dragged into a dispute and used as a shield.”
