The K-pop community recognizes RM as a lyrical genius, and he once again demonstrated his talent and charisma in the new track “Neva Play,”featuring American singer-songwriter Megan Thee Stallion.

Following its release on September 6, the highly-anticipated music video gained immense traction on social media, with fans from around the globe praising the collaboration.

RM’s rich, deep voice complemented Megan’s sultry image perfectly, and their raps created a dynamic blend of confidence and artistry. Fans also praised “Neva Play“for its futuristic and anime-inspired visuals.

A standout line delivered by RM, “For Asia, man, we paved the way,”aptly alludes to BTS’s significant journey to global success.

On social media platform X, fans expressed their admiration for RM, dubbing him the “Father of K-pop,”while labeling “Neva Play”as the “Collab of the Year.”

Moreover, even Megan expressed her admiration for RM. On September 2, before the release of “Neva Play,”she hinted to fans, stating, “This is one of my favorite RM verses I’ve heard! I’ve never heard him rap in this style before.”

BTS RM is currently serving in the military and is expected to be discharged in June 2025.
