BTS is preparing to welcome back their oldest member as he finishes his military duties. According to reports, the rest of the members have already submitted their leave requests.
Jin will finish his military service on June 12th. He joined as an active-duty soldier in December 2022 and has faithfully fulfilled his obligations for 18 months.
It is not anticipated that there will be an official discharge ceremony. Similarly, there were no special events held to avoid safety accidents when he enlisted, and the same is expected for his discharge.
At first, the BTS members had planned to greet him at the military unit. However, due to concerns about overcrowding, they have decided to quietly commemorate his discharge at a location in Seoul instead.
After being discharged, Jin will continue his individual activities. His first plan is to attend the “2024 Festa” and have a hug event with 1,000 ARMYs. Additionally, he has plans to release a solo album during the latter half of the year.
J-Hope is set to complete his service in October and will be the next member of BTS to be discharged. It is expected that the group will fully reunite after June of next year.
