Caleb Pressley and Glenn Balls Chart New Course with Independent Venture

Caleb Pressley and Glenn Balls, the charismatic hosts of Barstool’s popular interview series, Sundae Conversation, are embarking on an exciting new chapter as they step into independence. Pressley is launching his own production company, Bill Joe Productions, allowing him to retain complete ownership of the series.

The shift will empower Pressley and Balls to continue producing the show under its new banner, with aspirations to deliver 20 episodes in 2025. This transition represents an evolution in their creative journey, further establishing “Sundae Conversation” as an independent entity.

Pressley’s Unexpected Departure from Barstool

In a heartfelt social media announcement, Pressley captured the sentiment of his decision through a lighthearted skit featuring children. He emphasized the importance of taking risks in life, stating, “Sometimes in life you got to take some risks and you’ve got to go out on your own and do your own thing.” His connection to Barstool runs deep, having joined in 2015 during his college years, but as Pressley noted, “it’s time” for a new venture as his contract concluded.

In addition to continuing with “Sundae Conversation,” Pressley aims to expand the creative horizons of Bill Joe Productions by developing new content. The company will collaborate with Shadow Lion, Tom Brady’s agency, focusing on enhancing sales and talent production for their flagship series.

Pressley’s departure from Barstool is rooted in a desire for enhanced creative liberty and the potential to broaden his content production efforts beyond a singular platform. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this move reflects a strategic step towards greater artistic autonomy.

Gilad Haas, co-founder of Shadow Lion, expressed excitement over the partnership, stating, “In today’s dynamic media world, Caleb stands out as an unparalleled talent. We’re thrilled to partner with him and Bill Joe Productions to take ‘Sundae Conversation’ to new heights, while collaborating on new, bold ideas that push creative boundaries.”
